Like we’ve written about before, social media is everywhere today, and it is quickly emerging as the future of marketing. That’s why two manufacturing companies in the Jamestown area are looking for a couple of interns to spearhead their social media marketing efforts. Ultrapak, a company that provides flexible packaging materials used by the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries, and Chautauqua Woods, which produces handcrafted doors and entranceways, are both looking to bring on a social media intern for $10 an hour to manage their social media presences. Students will get a chance to use social media in a professional setting and attain some strong marketing experience for their resume. All applicants should have an understanding of social media communication and marketing practices.
