Internship of the Week: Social Media and Events Intern, Chautauqua County Humane Society

Another internship centered on social media. Still don’t believe that it’s the future of marketing? This internship is with the Chautauqua County Humane Society, thus combining two things that were practically built for each other: the internet and adorable animals.

Interns with the Humane Society can expect to learn different marketing techniques and gain experience with public relations, event planning and implementation. You’ll also assist with social media management, brainstorm ideas for new marketing campaigns, assist in the planning, organization, and implementation of events, and brainstorm different avenues of fundraising.

Applicants should be very organized and detail-oriented, with strong writing and communication skills, as well as knowledge and experience with various social media platforms. Students involved in communications, marketing, and public relations are encouraged to apply.
