Internship of the Week: Graphic Design Intern, Hanson Sign Companies

We don’t always realize it, but graphic design is everywhere. That can of soda you picked up at the supermarket? A graphic designer came up with that packaging and design. Same goes for the billboard you passed on the way home. And that new app that you just downloaded? Chances are, a graphic designer helped with the layout. Even the JCC website was designed by a professional graphic designer.

The point is, graphic design is everywhere, and so are graphic designers. This week’s internship is with Hanson Sign Companies, which is, conveniently enough, in the market for a graphic designer. They’re specifically looking for applicants with a background in graphic design or art and a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Interested in seeing what the working world is like for a graphic designer? Want to learn some of the ins and outs of sign production? This internship is for you.

JCC students interested in applying should contact the Office of Experiential Learning at 716.338.1381.
