Jamestown Community College’s Fall Fest
What first comes to your mind at the word Halloween? Is it a trick-or-treating, ghosts, Halloween costume parties, carving pumpkins, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, divination games, playing pranks, visiting haunted attractions, telling scary stories, watching horror films? Yes, you’re absolutely right…All these fun and appealing activities describe this magnificent and mysterious holiday!
On October 30, JCC’s Jamestown Campus gave students a splendid opportunity to experience the entrancing atmosphere of Halloween Eve and to celebrate it as a great family!
So many activities to enjoy!
Students had a chance to get involved in different activities, participate in creative competitions, and win prizes! Organizers of the Fall Fest created wonderful open space for students to express their creative skills and talent! There were more than 10 interactive platforms to participate.
Students could compete in donut eating and play corn hole, organized by the International Club. SOTA Club offered students a wonderful opportunity to spend time in good company and decorate some cookies. Art lovers had a great chance to take part in face painting and mask painting.
Earth Awareness Club organized a quiz game, where students could learn more about native and introduced species of trees and plants. Dungeons and Dragons Club created a relaxing and cozy area, where students could drink a cup of super-delicious hot chocolate. Tic tac toe areas were set up for board game fans. Pumpkin painting and carving added to the Halloween mood. Every student had a chance to find an activity!
The great organization of the festival allowed all the students to enjoy their time at Fall Fest and win great prizes. This Fall Fest was bright, extremely fun, and definitely memorable!’
